Nueve años después de la separación de R.E.M, Michael Stipe empieza una carrera en solitario con dos singles cuya primera entrega fue a mediados de Octubre para más tarde volver a la carga a primeros de año con este Drive To The Ocean. 31 años de experiencia a sus espaldas es suficiente confianza para saber que seguramente estemos ante uno de los discos del año cuando podamos escucharlo en su totalidad,
